REAL ESTATE DONATIONS

WUTC
Real Estate Donation Program

WUTC's studios are located on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus on the 7th floor of the State Office Building at 540 McCallie in the state's fourth largest city, Chattanooga. Often referred to as "the scenic city", Chattanooga has received national recognition for the renaissance of its beautiful downtown and redevelopment of its riverfront along the Tennessee River. As the famous site of three major civil war battles, Chattanooga is a growing metro area of over 400,000 people. Located equally between Knoxville, Birmingham, Nashville, and Atlanta, it is a commerce center. Among its outstanding offerings are its Tennessee Aquarium, Lookout Mountain, the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo, Rock City, and the mountain climbing Incline Railroad. Tourists visit the area to enjoy events like the 3 Sisters Festival of Bluegrass, Nightfall Summer Concert Series, and Riverfront Nights Summer Music Series, and the Creative Discovery Museum for children.

About Real Estate Donations

WUTC partner with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to process donations in the form of real estate assets. Properties in any location, condition, and format are eligible for donation to WUTC. Back taxes, mortgage balances, and deferred maintenance do not prohibit your ability to donate. Our program covers all loans, liens, commissions, and closing costs so long as there is equity in the property.

If you have a land, residential, or commercial real estate asset that is unused or costing you money, consider giving back to the station you love by donating it to WUTC. As a result, you may also be eligible for a significant tax deduction!
